Terrace Borders, Country Home, Wiltshire
This large Georgian country house had little interest beyond a yew hedge and a formal lawn. With expansive views to the countryside beyond, the challenge was to create a garden that felt as much part of the house as it did to the surrounding, less formal grounds.
Perennial borders were created around the existing terrace, their layout reflects the Georgian love of symmetry whilst the abundant planting adds a more relaxed note.
